Taj Paxton is a screenwriter and documentarian whose films live at the intersection of culture, conflict and social change. Her work has been recognized with four consecutive Emmy Awards in the Documentary category. In her career, she has been honored with the Humanitas Prize, given to works that inspire human freedom and a special Television Academy honor for producing programming that educates and enlightens audiences. 

She has given talks and facilitated discussions for leading industry organizations including:
